Annecy
Haute-Savoie, France
LIBER.ARCHI primarily operates in Haute-Savoie, Savoie, and across the Rhone-Alpes region. We also support projects in Switzerland, particularly in Geneva and Lausanne. Our location in Annecy allows us to cover a rich and diverse cross-border Alpine territory.
We design bioclimatic houses, extensions, ecological renovations, and participate in architecture competitions. Every project — whether new construction or rehabilitation — is designed to engage with its environment, integrate the living world, and use bio-sourced materials.
Bioclimatic architecture involves designing buildings that take advantage of local climatic conditions — sunlight, wind, temperature — to reduce energy needs. It incorporates optimal orientation, high-performance insulation, natural materials, and natural ventilation. At LIBER.ARCHI, we also integrate biodiversity and bio-sourced materials for a truly living architecture.
A project begins with an initial meeting to understand your needs and discover the site. We then move to the sketch phase, followed by a detailed preliminary design and planning permit submission. We oversee the construction through to delivery, ensuring every detail — from materials to vegetation — stays true to the original vision.
Yes, the use of bio-sourced materials is central to our approach. We favor wood, hemp, raw earth, and locally sourced materials from short supply chains. These choices reduce the building's carbon footprint, improve thermal comfort, and support the local economy in Haute-Savoie and Savoie.
