Completed — Therapeutic space — 2020
Location
Annecy Hospital (74)
Area
25 m²
Twenty-five square metres wedged between two wings of the building, with no soil and no clearance. And yet a planted patio took root there, for the healthcare workers and patients of the intensive care unit at Centre Hospitalier Annecy-Genevois. Built during the COVID-19 pandemic, this project transforms a highly constrained surface into a decompression and healing space through vegetation.

"Twenty-five square metres, a few aromatic planters, slatted shutters that filter the light: enough to change the daily life of those who heal."
